Salt City Dogs

Today was just a hot dog kind of day so I stopped in to get my favorite coneys and mac/tuna salad. The turkey chili sounded good too so I ordered a cup of it for lunch during the week. None of the workers behind the counter wore name tags so I can't name names but there were 2 young guys working on this particular Sunday. The heavier of the two waited on me and he barely spoke a word. Not even a hello. Usually the staff are friendlier and if the food wasn't so good here, I'd have definitely given less stars and a poor review. Btw, I tasted the chili before I put it away in the fridge and it's delicious. You can't go wrong here with any food on the menu but maybe the staff can be retrained on how to better deal with the public. ????????

Hoffman's Hots & Coney's.. try the State Fair Italian Sausage it's Fantastic.. Outstanding Macaroni Salad with a hint of Tuna Fish & Dill.. that is worth the trip there by itself..

A place for a great hot dogs great sausage and peppers and great kielbasa. I know people are stuck on Heidi's of Syracuse. This place is great. I recommend it highly

The best hotdogs&fries and etc. You can never go wrong for lunch or dinner. I know great food and i been cooking for years. Everything is fresh and the employees are great and hard working. The prices are also reasonable. Salt City Dogs definitely will see more of me.

A Syracuse favorite. Hoffman hot dogs & Snappies, grilled sausage sandwiches, burgers grilled cheese etc...the BEST pickles, cheese fries (real cheese, not nacho sauce), tuna mac salad and tapioca you will find ANYWHERE. Cheap, fast, consistent and served in a bright, fuss-free family friendly space. A classic roadside spot. I make my family stop here every time we pass through my old hometown. Now they're hooked too!
