I was responsible for organizing a picnic for 140 high school athletes and their families, and was thrilled with Niko's price, quality, and service. The chicken riggies were fantastic, and the first to go, but we had plenty of other amazing food as well. Large trays of meatballs-- all homemade, sausage and ziti fed us and had everyone asking me who catered the party. I was glad to tell them Nikos because they handled this large group without sacrificing quality. Thank you, Phil and your talented team, we'll be back again! Liverpool Boys and Girls XC teams
Excellent comfort food at Nikos! Had scalloped potatoes & ham, utica greens and chicken parm, and chicken cacciatore. Chicken was permeated with the sauce flavors and tender for the fork alone; my favorite. Recommend all these. Add some Nikos made bread and budget friendly prices to top off the totally positive experience. If you are venturing out on a hungry impulse, look no further in downtown and close to Armory Square. Owner Phil Alibrandi stopped by our table to guarantee a meal.
This is a bare bones kind of place, but the chicken parm sub I had was large and yummy. More about quantity of comfort food than some sort of haute cuisine. No waitstaff, sort of runs like a cafeteria.
I received a huge portion of riggies - enough for 4 meals if you are on a reasonable diet. I was starving, so it will be two meals. The medium heat sauce with large chunks of delicious chicken breast - perfect! Bread and butter to sop up the fantastic sauce, a definite plus.Even though I was full, I couldn't resist tasting the cookies and cream cheesecake. YUM!
