Rise N Shine on Westcott

The food and cocktails were all amazing! I'm not a fan of Bloody Mary's but the in house mix is phenomenal!! We were a party of 12 there for a busy Saturday brunch and Brianna V was our unfortunate waitress. She was amazing! One of us mentioned wanting a drink, she stopped mid-stride and asked what we needed, suggested what to order, and was on her way to place the order. Everybody pitched in for service (the bartender brought over the cocktail). The food came very quickly considering our number, it was hot and absolutely delicious. The kitchen has some great talent. The parking is a bit strained but it's worth a block or two walk to visit. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We'll definitely be there again.

Trendy spot, good location. Super creative with food presentation as well! Only reason this is 4 stars is because it takes a bit for someone to greet you when you first walk in. It’s like do I wait here? Do I go find someone and let them know I’m here? Not sure. However, the service, food, and drinks make up for it. Would definitely come back again!

Rise N Shine on Westcott offers a very modern atmosphere with an exceptionally eccentric menu full of interesting and exciting foods to try. However, this restaurant does not earn a 5/5 for one reason: it's *too* trendy. With everything that it has to offer, it feels almost like it is trying too hard, pulling on your homemade, small batch, bespoke with enough force to pull a school bus. Do spend your hard earned dollars at this establishment, just be prepared to be #trended to death.

The food and Service was great. I have been (3) times in the past week. Brianna was my (1) st server. She made me feel like I was somewhere special. I ordered the cheesy shrimp and grits with eggs. The presentation of the food was wonderful and neat, which she explained to me before I ordered. My second server was thoroughly efficient as well, though I can't recall her name. Joe, was my third server. He was also very nice and kept checking on my party to keep us satisfied. I will be returning very soon. Thank you and happy holidays.
