Storming Crab™- Seafood Restaurant Syracuse

Only southern seafood boil/fry place around. Staff was super hospitable. Waitress was very helpful explaining all their options. Highly recommend!

We have been here a week and went to Storming crab twice. The environment is casual and the menu layout leaves something to be desired BUT the food is awesome. I had the crab, shrimp and clam boil the first time...shrimp was amazing.....then lobster, crawfish and clams the next. So good. It is very messy so be warned before you go to not dress in your Sunday best!

We felt like we were on vacation in the deep South. $47 platter fed 3 of us and provided a leftover lunch as well. Flavor options are applied to the whole tray so you'll need to come to an agreement about the spiciness. We were pleased with our food and the price. Also like $4 craft beer price.

We went on a Friday night and this place was empty!!! Its a fun looking, crab shack themed place, so why is no one there? The food was just okay and quite over-priced. The $45 combos say they feed 2-3 people, but not even close. My husband ate ours all by himself and he is not a big man and does not overeat! I ended up sharing the kids chicken tenders meal which was actually the best thing of the night taste and value wise. We will not be back, unfortunately, it's just not worth it!

The food was great, but it was a little messier than most seafood places I've been to (the way it's served)... They should put the food in something neater. Service was good and friendly. Prices are a little high, but you get your money's worth... One meal was enough to feed me and my wife, and we didn't even finish it all.
