Roy Rogers

One of the best road trip stops there is. Almost every time on the way up the Thruway, Roy Roger always pulls in clutch with the tasty delight during the ride!

The roast beef is always great at this place, it's made to order, so it's not sitting under a hot lamp. I understand it's a reststop so prices are usually higher, but it's still a bit pricey even for a rest stop. Two meals, cost $28.00. The cashier stated it used to be even more expensive, management just lowered the prices because people complained. I think they need to lower their prices one more time.

Located on the north bound NYSi87. This stop is very clean, organized and accommodating, parking lots to restaurants and bathrooms! Roy Rogers has very good choices of quality food that you can get on the run and want to slow down to enjoy. Their new spicey chicken sandwich, are whole breast cutlets individually HAND battered, made fresh all day! Fast food is going great places if they were the model! Impressive, seriously.

Only 2 guys running the joint during a snow storm and they were on point keeping cool and very aware and positive even though there was a long line due to all the other shops being closed. Good bacon cheeseburgers and fries.
