It’s Halloween morning and there’s a girl dressed like an orange zombie ballerina who is literally running back-and-forth from behind the counter to the long line of customers asking them what they wanted to drink. “My girlfriend and I went here for our first date and I think the atmosphere was great. What messed up the night up for us was the food. Every meal we had tasted and smelled either strong with garlic or raw like fish. My girlfriend's salad was so raw and it had no seafood in it. Mine wasn't bad. The entrees got worse when the chicken on my girlfriends plate smelled raw. Mine wasn't bad but it was strong in garlic. Then on to the dessert. How can a dessert be so darn strong with garlic? I was so angry. We ordered the same thing and it was some apple cinnamon thing with ice cream. The ice cream was fine but that other thing was floating in garlic. By the way our waiter was amazing.”

“Grew up in rolling hills and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I’ve been to pizza places all over NYC, and I have to say this is probably my all time favorite pizza place. The rolls were perfect, there were some cracker type things with sesame seeds(maybe there's a word for it but I'm a bit of a philistine) and there were even two blueberry mini muffins. Got to try a beer I'd never had before. And the meal was really excellent. Had I come here for beer, I would have liked more variety but I came for dinner and this place was inarguably fantastic. West Point Academy is a great historical institution and the Deli made the experience much more enjoyable. There are other things to do also right down the street.
