Prato Trattoria

Everyone is so friendly and attentive here! Small place but very nicely done. Loved the ambiance. Suggested to make reservations. We got the hot antipasti plate as an appetizer and it had a nice mix of items. Entrees were a decent portion and came with a salad. The mint chip Gelato was seriously the best I ever had. My only complaint was the waiter offered us bread and didn't inform us it was a $10 charge. (we later found it said so on the menu but hadn't gotten there yet) don't get me wrong it was huge and delicious but half of our table doesn't normally eat bread. Overall great experience and would go back again!

Excellent food, outstanding choice of appetizers, entrees, and specials superbly executed. Everything really is superior, even the artisan bread. Staff and owner are attentive, convivial and efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. Tops our favorite list.

I've been there twice. Wish they were closer to my residence, but worth the ride. The food, my favorite is (zuppe de pesche), bread and service is terrific! I highly recommend this place. Not a huge place, very warm atmosphere. You get greeted as soon as you walk in and John the owner, is wonderful. Good old Italian restaurant. I feel like I'm back in the Bronx!

The best in the area!! I've never had a bad meal here. I've been there for dinner and ordered take out, each time its fresh and delicious!

Nothing like crushing a pizza at the end of a long work day. Prato knows how to make a perfect slice. Even the crust makes you want to chew extra long just to enjoy the flavor. Definitely will be going back. Yes $18 for a large pepperoni pizza is a little on the expensive side but it’s worth it. Staff is nice as well!
