“Gas pumps are so slow and in such disrepair. Prices on gas are much higher than places 10 minutes away. Like 20 to 30 cents difference per gallon. I only stopped here because I was low on gas but not thrilled at all. Go up onto rt22 to find a different station next time. See the pictures , the pump handle was broken, the place the pump handle sits in was broken the screen was half out. And just waiting for gas to pump out was so slow.”

“I HIGHLY recommend this place! The minute we walked in the door we were greeted and there was this wonderful, positive energy. The family that owns this place is incredibly kind, genuine, thoughtful and accomodating. They all were so happy and glad to help us. I wish every place was like this one. We all need kindness, especially these days. I was blown away by the service. Let's not forget the food!! My mom visited Greece recently and she said her lamb and beef yeero was served just like when she was there. She was very happy with her meal. I had the Caesar salad and soup of the day (fasolada) and was very pleased. The soup was absolutely delicious. I will certainly be back. Thank you Dimitra, Olga, and Evangelia! “I visited this re-branded restaurant and the ownership has delivered a stellar product. First, when it comes to design of the restaurant, no detail was left behind. I was thoroughly impressed as Tave has a very distinct “vibe and flow.” For food & drink (see below) we ordered cazuelita and baked clams; both excellent. For a cocktail we had a Mahopac Gentleman and it was delicious. Upon first glance you can tell the mixologist is the real deal. Will be visiting again soon!”

Also, go to chain restaurants when traveling, for business or pleasure, but I happily make an exception for this Gino Deli.The quality I receive is always well worth the price, and I was happy to see that they offered so many varieties, as well as so many flavor full foods. First, we were treated well by Tami, who booked our reservation, and even gave me her cell number if I needed anything; then we were taken very good care of by Mike. He was amazing. If I could have packed him in my suitcase and brought him home, I would have. He makes everything easier. He made our stay very nice with his attention to detail and helpful ways. The location, historical value, clean rooms, delicious food, and excellent customer service make this place a great choice the next time you visit Cold Spring.”

“I have to agree with a recent review that this is an incredibly scenic course with nice staff, but for the price it should be in much better condition. The clubhouse is very nice and the practice area is excellent, but many of the tee boxes were chewed up and the greens were not good at all. We were told they had been aerated several week earlier, but it seemed much more recently done and not done well; the carpet in my house rolls better. I would give the greens alone a 1 star rating. I'm understanding of the fact that we have had a LOT more rain that usual, but other courses with much smaller grounds crews are in great shape.”

“I have lived in the Brewster area for years and constantly struggled to find a pizzeria that serves to my expectations, but since opening, Tony's has proven to serve beyond them! I frequented Portofino's (previously in this location) however, always considered it to be nothing beyond average. The store has gone through an entire gutted renovation and looks beautiful which makes me feel like I am having a fine dining experience at a local pizza shop! The food speaks for itself upon trial, the quality is unbeatable for their prices! I cannot thank the guys at Tony's enough! Can't wait to see you guys soon again!!!”

“Have visited this restaurant twice and I really like the design of the building. The first time we had milk shakes that where made by a young man I thought to be the owner who was very pleasant. The milk shakes where like flavored milk, not thick at all and very expensive at $6. A piece. We gave it another try yesterday and decided to go into the building which is very nice, the tables are small and a bit tight to seat 4 people comfortably. I was stunned by the pricing of the menu. $12. For s burger that is served on paper, $4.50 more if you want a med ( no refill) drink and a nothing special cookie. We ordered a Ruben burger which is a Hamburger topped with pastrami. The staff was friendly at this stage and there seemed to be at least 6 people on staff at the time. The burger came quickly and I realized when I placed the order I was not asked about the temperature I wanted the burger to be cooked. The burger was a thin patty though tasty , with one slice of Swiss, and toppings where barely present, French fries where barely cooked. For the $17.00 I could have gone to Wendy’s and had 2 of the same quality burgers. They are also selling the same burgers in a case in the restaurant which I thought was interesting. It’s too bad this restaurant doesn’t offer something special to the area, I will continue to go go Kelly’s corner and Wendy’s.”

“Mone's Eatery is a fantastic new option for takeout fine dining just outside of Cold Spring! Every single dish is made with love, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the staff is super nice. The casserole has an incredible assortment of tasty meats and beans, perfectly crispy duck confit. I can't wait to try everything else on their menu. Our first meal was the grilled cheese, an creative blend of cheeses and a side of the best fries in Cold Spring. There's plenty of parking if you're visiting from out of town and would like to get take out for your AirBnB instead of dealing with crowds in the village. Seating is limited indoors.”

It’s an amazing game and this place is a worthy representation of a time near-gone where people hang out with friends for hours to enjoy a friendly sport together.
