“Good dinner, but lots of opportunities for improvement. My wife and I went for breakfast on New Year's Eve morning and ordered eggs, toast, and coffee. Within 5 minutes, the coffee arrives in a multiple stains of dried coffee and chipped cup. 25 minutes later, eggs arrived in a dirty plate with cold home fries. We even had a fly to keep us company. In the past, service was better. The diner was short staffed. It looked like 2 waitresses for the entire place. I hope they can make improvements, because they do have great pancakes, and the best Greek salad in town with feta cheese and anchovies.”

“Just one word: WOW! This was my first time visiting Mario's Pizza, and my only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner! Hand down, best pizza in Mahopac! I'm a city gal, and transplant to the suburbs, and if I didn't know any better, I would swear that I was having Brooklyn pizza! I ordered a personal pie with pepperoni. Everything from the crust, to the sauce, and the cheese, was just delicious. It was great watching Mario make out pizza from scratch, and we felt like appreciated customers. I am looking forward to returning. This will totally be my one and only pizza place.”

“Mario's is a small cozy place. The food never disappoints. There's always something to take home. I have had various dishes and have enjoyed each one. The tomato sauce has a made fresh daily taste. Tonight the warm, fresh, bread loaf was outstanding. The prices are excellent. The servers are friendly and helpful. Customizing an order has worked out (I'm not talking drastic changes). Highly recommended.”
