Murasaki

Cozy place, attentive staff, good sushi and nigiri. They also serve eclectic plates. Every one that comes to Murasaki would find something they would like to eat. Very reasonable ???? priced.

What a treat! My husband found this place and talked about it for three weeks until we were able to go together.

(Sidenote: they're not open Monday night. ;) Don't make the mistake we did - check the hours!)

The location was clean, including the bathroom; the staff was pleasant and helpful; and the SUSHI OH MY WORD excuse me while I dissolve into happy sated joy.

Delicious.

The presentation was fantastic, and the tea and soda were both good, but oooooh that sushi.

The good news is we won't have to go into Manhattan to find great sushi. The bad news is I'm traveling a lot for work and can't go again until next week.

The only downside was the music, which was an amazing Muzak saxophone cornucopia of wonder. It grated a little, but mostly made me laugh, so don't think of it as a downside. It's just completely incongruous and funny, and the sushi is WELL worthwhile.
