Sheng Ramen

Hidden inside a building "mall" but the ramen was really good. Especially the vegetarian option. Would go there again.

Really good Japanese restaurant for a quiet meal away from the crowds. Try the ramen noodle soup with Pork, its really good and the soup base truly lifts the entire dish.

This place was ok for me. The food was ok, too. This was my first time. I have tried better ramen before. Maybe it has to do with its origin so, I might be wrong about the taste of the food. I enjoyed the food that I ordered (with my friends) but it is something that I would eat only if it was the only place open around. Also, this place is like a self-service restaurant. You order from the counter and then someone brings you the food. The beverages can be obtained from a self-service area. The place is small and it was little hard finding it inside the building since there are many places/restaurants inside the building. This place is nice to eat alone or as a group, it is quiet and seemed clean.

From my visits I feel this place has the best minced (braised) pork over rice at least in the NY Queens area on a consistent basis, this is a classic soul food type of item in Taiwanese cuisine. The servers always treat the customers with politeness and the shop is always kept super clean. Our daughter is a super picky eater, but she completely fell in love with the minced (braised) pork over rice and their perfect soft yolk eggs! Another item we truly enjoy is the beef broth with dumplings, the soup and the dumplings are absolutely delicious, just thinking about it is making me to salivate! It's definitely not a stuff-your-face restaurant, instead, it's a place for quick and especially great tasting food!
