Wow. The service here is surprisingly really nice. They’re super helpful and friendly. And they give welcome snacks so waiting around ain’t bad at all.

The sauce bar is perfect with so many oils and sauces.

The meat balls are not good. Don’t order them. Everything else is amazing!!!!

Seafood is so fresh that most of the menu is still moving when it arrives.

The broths are all very flavorful.

Tip: Make sure you try to call in for a reservation because the wait time is usually around 30 minutes to an hour.

The Dolar Shop is definitely on the pricey side, but their cozy modern Victorian Era decor, knowledgeable staff and a huge selection of prime meats, seafood and drinks all call for an awesome hotpot experience.

I called in for a reservation at 8:30pm so I was seated almost immediately during that time. During our meal, the staff was attentive: filling our tea whenever it was time and preparing our Pate to be cooked. A minor inconvenience was the loud music, but I figured that they turned up the music volume during that time because I witnessed two birthday parties during my stay there. When we finished our meal, the waiter gave us complimentary vanilla ice cream which is a good way to end any meal.

The type of food I highly suggest is their signature Shrimp Pate and Waygu beef. They also have beef balls with cheese filling to satisfy the Western palate, but I didn't think to order it. Overall, a good experience and I'll definitely be back!

Tasty food and fantastic service!! Our server, Bryan L., was so attentive and you can really see the attention to detail at every step! The restaurant is clean and aesthetically nice. They have a wide array of menu choices and I loved everything that I had. Best hot pot place ever!

Most friendly and warm customer service I ever seen. They work like family. It's like having dinner at your friend's house. Food tastes very good. Price is very reasonable. Will visit again in the future. Very good setting.

The best hot pot experience, taste, selection, and quality. Super friendly staff, hot Chinese tea, candy, watermelon, and coconut cookies while waiting. The manager Michael personally helped me understand the vast selections on the menu. Even the waiter double checked to make sure I didn't over order, which is easy to do, because everything looks so good! And it is! A must stop in New York.
