Bourbon Street

Things were surprisingly spicy (wasnt expecting that much of a kick for crab cakes), which I liked. The apple cider sangria just tastes like an angry orchard, but you buzz faster. The roof area is cool. Bright had good music going, but its just a bar scene with little places to put down a drink. The dimmer lighting in the first floor is more agreeable than on the roof. Wife loved the walnut butter(?) that came with the bread. Service was good. Cant believe they don't serve crawfish. Most of the menu is normal bar grub. Still a nice time out.

Bourbon Street is a beautiful restaurant with friendly wait staff. Even the boss came around to check how everyone was doing. Most of the food was enjoyable: I especially loved the catfish and the cheesecake. The portions were enormous because the bread size on my po' boy overwhelmed the fish. I would have liked less bread and more seasoning in the cole slaw. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Staff where really nice. Nice atmosphere and decor. my steak sandwich was good but my partner's jambalaya was very spicy so could not really taste anything but spice. would go back and try other menu items.
