Jamaican Flavors

Food is Great, long lines. They used to take phone orders, but I see why they stopped. Wouldn't be fare to customers who come straight to the restaurant and wait on line patiently. Sometimes chef is heavyhaned with the Hot spices love the Reggae pasta.

The food is amazing. Authentic Jamaican style and flavors. The only downside is there's always a long line night or day, which is also a testament of how food the food is.

This was my first time to Jamaican Flavors. The place was packed with people waiting to order in a serpentine queue. After about a 20 minute wait (read: do not go there in a rush), we were able to place our order at the counter. The wait was worth it. The jerk chicken sandwich I got was very tasty and the curry goat was good too (and a bit spicy). We also got a couple of beef patties which were very good. I'll definitely go back again to try other things from their large menu.

Jamaican Flavors is undoubtedly the best place in all of New York for Jamaican food; everything is great tasting, I sometimes wonder if specialists are brought in to prepare the individual fares, it been many years now for me, and I am yet to be disappointed, no matter what I chose to eat. And here I am the most particular of eater, one who is considered a great cook myself, and thanks to them I don't even bother to cook, they do it for me, one of the high points of living in Queens, I no longer have to commute from Brooklyn to savor food worthy of mention.

Come here all the time. Food is always tasty. Try the shrimp, it's very good. The line can get long, that's how good the food is. There is always cars pulling up to get a plate. It is a grab and go place, no tables to sit down and eat there.
