(January 1, 2019, 8:12 pm)I'm Taiwanese and was missing food from home. This place was definitely worth the trip from Manhattan and I loved almost all the dishes! The chef was very friendly and gave great recommendations - we were a party of 10 so you could imagine the messy ordering. Can't wait to come back. Place was clean, food was authentic and were dishes that I missed deeply. Thank you shifu!

(October 10, 2018, 11:03 pm)Okay "all-purpose" Chinese restaurant for Chinese people -- but NOT NOT NOT a Taiwanese restaurant for any Taiwan compatriots!! No stinky tofu, no beef noodle soup, the oyster omelette/pancake was nothing special (they seemed to have relied on mostly ketchup)...that's like an American roadside diner not offering hamburgers while the fries are just plain!
