Anzuelo Fino

The restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The staff greeted us warmly and we were seated immediately. The waiter presented us the menu via an Ipad so we had a nice visual of the typical Peruvian dishes. We ordered a variety of appetizers: chicharron de pollo with marinated onions, yuca a la huancana & chicken empanada. The empanadas were surprisingly good. They were big & the chicken inside was generous, tasty & not dry at all. marinated onions with lemon, cilantro & jalapeño were to die and complemented the chicken nicely. The fried/baker yuca drowned in this luscious sauce made of mayonnaise & some other magical concoction. Our entrees were caldo de gallina (chicken soup), Arroz chaufa de pollo, Peruvian grill with all meats (Chicken, ribs, steak, pork, sausage, & even chicken hearts) accompanied by yellow rice with red beans. It was generous, tasty (slightly salty), not too dry and better than the Colombian ones we have tried. The steak was slightly chewy.
We were too stuffed for the soup so we had it wrapped up. It looked light & a good meal for the next day. Finally, the highlight of our meal was this green sauce “aji verde” - fresh, vibrant sauce made of mayo, lime, garlic, cilantro, spicy peppers & herbs. We drowned all of our food in it!
I would highly recommend this place for an informal night out with friends or family. Service was top notch and the food truly worth it!

My family and I come here for special occasions as a family for a reason. The food is so delicious and the service here is great. They are very attentive to their customers. We enjoy coming here to eat and would recommend it to anybody who wants to have a good time.

My husband and I went to the restaurant this weekend. all very good service and excellent food service that only presented a problem with a dish but was quickly solved, something that would improve is the heating since one wants to eat in a warm place and was quite cold even employees were cold. But without a doubt when they improve that or in summer I will return
