THE HUNTRESS whiskey n’ wings

Went here on a Saturday night to enjoy some wine with the Mrs. and a good friend. We were here at around 7:15 pm and got a nice table for three with high chairs.

We ordered 2 bottles of wine Super Tuscan ($48), & Pinot Noir ($40) which were both great!

The wings here are to die for. We got the Spicy, Nashville Style Hot Sauce wings ($13) which were absolutely amazing. We ordered these twice! We also got the Snow wings (White BBQ sauce) ($12) which we didn't really enjoy much, only because the spicy wings were packed with flavor and spice! Hadrian, our server asked us to rate these wings in terms of level of spice on a scale of 10, and we gave it an 8 - so order it only if you have tolerance for spice.

Contrary to negative reviews for this place, we had a great experience at the Huntress and our servers Hadrian and Sean were warm and welcoming and gave us excellent service. Our only problem was with the loud music, so I wish the music was a little less loud so one could have conversations with friends without screaming! Of course, we didn't really tell them to reduce the volume, so just a suggestion!

Will definitely visit again, especially for their amazing chicken wings!

So happy The Huntress has opened in LIC! I'm a wings guy and they have literally the best wings I've ever had! I think I sampled every single type in one sitting! I was amazed by the amount of different types of Whiskey they offer too! So cool! Service was very friendly and delivered with a smile. They even had great patience with all of my annoying questions. I think you've got me as a regular, Huntress. Super cool decor too! Makes me feel like I've gotten away to a magical forest for just a bit, while I sip my speciality cocktail. I highly recommend The Huntress. See you soon!

The decor in this place is very well done. It has a fantastic "huntress" theme with howling wolves by the bar, and antlers around as well. The lighting also was fantastic. However, for a place that supposed to be all about wings and whiskey the wings were disappointing. Not much flavor on either of the wings. The service, decor and drinks were all good enough to provide a great time though.

We normally steer clear of opening nights because we have been to enough that we know it’s best to let them work out the kinks first. However, since we are only in NYC for a few nights we decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I was actually extremely impressed with how well it went for an opening night and even it wasn’t opening night. It wasn’t perfect but an opening night never is. Actually, the food and the drinks WERE perfect. Try the Bambi cocktail of you like gin. We tried several different dishes. The venison jerky and the duck were amazing! I’m not much of a wing person but my husband loved them. I did read the review about the service and the credit card not being run at first but it was opening night. I think the staff deserves to be cut a little slack considering that. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting and we will definitely be back!

Love the food and drink selection. The Snow Wings were so good, it didn't even need the sauce. The Fiercest of Fries has a great variety of crispy fries, tater tots and waffle fries with some banging sauce. Definitely going back to try everything. Didn't expect less from The Baroness crew.
