I LOVED IT!! this gyro is the best one ever, it was soo good if I had to eat it the rest of my life I would, the day I got it I was starving and eating it was like heaven, the white sauce so good and also the hot sauce, now when ever I go NYC, this gyro is a must to get, I highly recommend this gyro!

I'll keep it simple: you have to get this if you're ever in NYC. It's affordable (about $8 for a platter with extra sauce, which they sometimes don't charge for, depending on their mood) and delicious. The red hot sauce is VERY spicy if you don't normally add hot sauce to everything. The white sauce is tangy and delicious - buy more than you think you need. You can buy as much sauce as your heart desires, it's packaged and has their logo and everything. The lines are daunting, but the service is quick and efficient, and they have a whole assembly system going so you won't be waiting long at all. Don't get off the line, ignore the rude drunks, and it will be worth it and there's almost always a line, even at 4am. Rule of thumb: if there's a line for something in NYC, there's a delicious reward waiting at the front. They are now a franchise, I believe, and they have a storefront on 14th street between 1st and 2nd aves. The cart is slightly better and way cheaper - the prices inside the store are almost double that of the cart. Either one is fine, the taste is almost exactly the same. I've probably had the chicken platter over 50 times and I don't know a single person who doesn't like their food.

On their "we are different" slogan: I think the difference between this and other Halal carts in NYC is the fact that they use higher quality meat and theirs is not greasy at all. Also, they don't add peppers or onions to their dish. I prefer the peppers and onions, but this place serves way more delicious food than all the other Halal carts in NYC. A true NYC staple.

I just ordered from grubhub and the food great, delivery was on time. But the only problem I have is that , if you are gonna charge extra for the sauce please give more than one especially the hot sauce. And I also wrote extra hot sauce and white sauce. So that was it but everything else was perfect.

I went here due to a recommendation. This was a food truck and I GOOGLED my way to it. The food was very good but I discovered that I don't like eating around pigeons. For that reason I give four stars.
