The Bonnie is a pleasant bar and restaurant.

Ambiance is relaxed and casual. Service was friendly, though a bit slow.

The food wasn't something I would rush back for, but everything was satisfying. I tried the fish tacos and the cheese and bacon fries. The fries came with two types of sauces. More recently I tried their Bonnie burger, sans the pork belly and replacing it with regular bacon (so really, not quite the Bonnie burger), and it was tasty but super salty.

The cocktails were decent and attractively garnished, though not very strong. I had three, and was not even tipsy. My personal feeling is, three cocktails in, I'd like to at least feel tipsy- especially considering the price.

All in all, pleasant place though.

    Love this place.
I've been here a ton of times over the last few years.

My husband and I came here on Valentines day last year after getting Oysters and appetizers elsewhere. We sat at the bar to avoid waiting for a table, which was perfect because we ended up only splitting their Fried Chicken Sandwich and the special dessert, a chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with a scoop of ice cream.

Unreal food. The chicken sandwich was fried to perfection with hot sauce and jalapeno slaw. It didn't come with fries or a side, but it ended up still being enough to fill us up. The chocolate chip cookie in the cast iron skillet was unbelievably good. Every bite felt like a celebration in my mouth. Warm, gooey, chocolatey goodness.

Cocktails were amazing as well. We each had one with dinner - the imperial dandy and the good ol' boy. After dessert we split a hot apple cider w/ bourbon. So good. Nice nightcap.

We will be back for sure...and very soon.

The food is great and the drinks are delicious. I recommend the fried chicken sandwich, its always on my mind when I head over. It great for large groups, a night out, or a place to sit and grab dinner. I highly recommend it.

Loved the burger. Loved the relaxed music and atmosphere. I enjoyed the bartender and his service was spot on. He caught an issue with my food before I did, immediately fixed it, and apologized twice. Then followed up to make sure I enjoyed my meal. He was attentive to the amount left in my glass and definitively helped earn the 5th star. I strongly recommend.

Order the mac n cheese, you will not be disappointed. Casual place to grab good food. I went with a small group to celebrate a friends birthday and they put us in a cozy room. The service was fast and friendly. I will be returning!
