Thumbs up to their grilled meat. Grilled burnt ends are soft, juicy and tasty. It is served in pieces, easy to eat. Corn bread is special in texture and delicious. If you are not big appetite, one portion of meat with corn bread is good enough for two ladies to share. We add Jackson salad (with grilled pork belly, also delicious, but too much meat for lady, cannot finish) and iced lemon tea.

When I came here, I was craving John Brown Smokehouse all week. I was not disappointed! I had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac & Cheese and the collard greens. Delicious! The traditional sauce and the spicy sauce together on the pulled pork sandwich was great. Will be back.

I got the 3 ribs + 1 meat order with a side. I chose Pulled pork as my meat and corn bread as my side. The ribs were cooked perfectly! I had it with the barbeque sauces that are placed on each table and it gave it an amazing flavor. This goes for the pulled pork as well. Meats were just amazing.

The corn bread was great, it had pieces of corn in it and it gave it a different type of sweet flavor that you don't normally get in corn bread (in a good way). I have never tried corn bread this way but I was not disappointed.

Overall, this place was great. The environment was welcoming and there is also a small bar in the back with a good selection of draft beer.

Seems like a nice neighborhood restaurant. They have a nice beer selection. The prices are affordable. Their portion sizes are great. Took off 2 stars because the brisket was dry and flavorless unfortunately. No smoke ring and super bland. The sides were not bad but I came for the meats. My girlfriend enjoyed her meat sandwich.
