M. Wells Steakhouse

Hands down THE BEST STEAK I had so far in my life.
After years of traveling, trying various cuisines to find the best of each, I would go to Wells for steak anytime I crave one.

Situated in a converted garage the outside impression is not overwhelming, but the inside ambiance is great. We were pleasantly surprised - however, that is also where the fun stopped. The waiters were very hard to engage, not at all helpful in the menu selection - with one exception, the staff was borderline unfriendly. The meal was below-par for an establishment like this, one stake was burned/charred and the other so chewy we left most of both. We didn't bother raising this with the staff due to the difficulty getting their attention and the mentioned unfriendliness - and when they did come to clear our table there was no interest in why the meal was only half eaten. Factoring in the price-level, this review would have been two-stars **

I had the most expensive steak on the menu.
It is enough to feed 2 people and I think this is a cool experience.
I don't think the food was worth the price I paid though there wasn't anything outstanding about it. ( nothing bad about it either )

Either way this is a 5 star place!

I have nothing to complain about therefore 5 stars.
staff and service were excellent but i think that is to be expected when paying $200 for a steak.

This is my regular Friday night dinner place. I Love the service, atmosphere, and food! Amazing steaks. I Wish there were a few more steak cut options. I have my favorite cut that I order every time I go to eat, but others in my family want to order different cut of meat. Overall excellent restaurant.
