Always been an enjoyable moment here, and the food is great! Also a good selection of drinks

$20 for a burger and $10 for a beer is a bit pricey given it is out of the way. It is nicer than the average pub and the food is good so it maybe it's warranted? 4/5 seems right. Would recommend this place for a meal but not if you like to have more than 1 drink at a reasonable (even for NYC) price.

Burger: awesome. Beers: great selection. $72 for a burger and four beers (I'll admit premium beers). Feeling a bit ripped off. $20 burger and $12 beers. The bartender was awesome... attentive and welcoming...but even in LIC seems a bit high. I'd like to five star it but won't based on price. Bring it down to $50 for the same and I'd put Dutch Kills on my regular rotation. Might even see some more people in the place during the day. Pretty dead when I was there. (Early lunch.)

I really wanted to like the place. The beers are good and so is the staff. Unfortunately, when it comes to the food, it's a completely different story. I tried the Mac and cheese, the cilantro crusted salmon, and the Thai Curry Pasta.
The Thai curry Pasta can to the best be described as creamy pasta with a slight pinch of curry.
The cilantro crusted salmon was burned and not tasting cilantro.
The Mac and cheese were truffled but tasting like out of a Mac and cheese truffled box.
Go for the beers. Forget about the food.

Had a nice weekday lunch here. The food was good, the service was fine. I was surprised my lentil salad didn't come with any actual salad greens, but it was super delicious anyway. My husbands mushroom risotto was good, creamy and well cooked, very well seasoned. I'm looking forward to going back soon, it seems like a great place to take a group of friends!
