Kings Box

We stumbled upon this restaurant the day after their Grand opening. Kings Box is a fast casual Korean restaurant and prices seem reasonable for the most part. The restaurant isn't that big with about 6 tables or so. K-pop music can be seen and heard on the single monitor. There is free WiFi and water can be had via the water cooler near the door.

The menu has a lot to offer including soju, sake and beer. They devote the whole second page of the menu to various "lunchbox"options which they offer all day and not only for lunch. We ordered the:

(L5) Bulgogi Lunchbox: marinated rib eye with onions served on top of kimchi rice and topped with runny fried egg. The rice had a nice bite to it and good kimchi flavor. Wished there was more Bulgogi meat but otherwise a nice dish.

(L20) Bulgogi & Teriyaki Chicken Couple Lunchbox: just as the name says, this dish is meant to be shared by two people. It's ALOT of food. The first dish is grilled chicken teriyaki with purple rice. The purple rice was fantastic and the chicken teriyaki was cooked well. The second dish is the Bulgogi box which is served on top of japchai and comes with sides of spinach, julienned kimchi, pickled radish, rice and salad. The Bulgogi meat was a little bland and the kimchi could have used more kick. But a very hearty meal and one I would gladly get again for the very reasonable price of $15.

(R1) Regular Ramen: we asked for non spicy and my nephew devoured this dish. Good option for picky young eaters.

They gave us complimentary order of fried dumplings. So nice! And the dumplings were fried nicely with a drizzle of sweet teriyaki sauce.

The waiter who served us was wonderful and very attentive. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and would come again.
