“I was raised on Sonic Drive In in Oklahoma City. I was so grateful they finally re-opened with a store in NYC! The food is great quality, holds up to Sonic standards and is on the level. Prices are low, unlike some chains that hike up their prices in NYC. The inside seating is clean. Obviously there’s no drive-up feature since we’re in Long Island City but otherwise this is the greatest quality Sonic experience I could’ve hoped for!”

“I think the food is great and the variety is good. The chicken and ribs has that nice charred taste. The chicken tenders are HUGE. The cashier said “it’s not that big.” It’s generously large pieces. The 1/4 pound burger was good too, had a nice charred taste to it. Honest opinion, it’s like Chicken lover’s on Northern Blvd, but with more options. If Danny’s grill is reading this, make your macaroni and cheese a little creamier. And it’ll be perfect. A little more vegetable options would be nice too. Grilled zucchini & carrots maybe? “I have eaten here twice now and this is by far my favorite Jamaican restaurant already. As you walk in, you can see the authenticity. The food is so good. My first time eating here, I tried the jerk chicken rice and stew chicken. Excellent. This week, I had the Rasta pasta and shrimp. Seasoned to perfection. I had a small order and I wanted to go back for another. I don’t know how they get these things but they have my favorite banana chips there (chippies), magnum, and a few other things that I rarely see up here. The woman who serves the food is also friendly. Not like some Jamaican restaurants where the servers have attitudes. This is my new after work spot every Sunday.”

“Brand new. When I walked in, they informed me they just opened the day prior. They even had trouble navigating some of the prices on the register, but overall, were very helpful and nice. They have an area just for side dishes, and some main dishes in the middle. When I came, they were still cooking, so the ideal time to go is around 12:30 - 1:00 to see what they have to offer.”
