Mess Hall

Great food! Sandwich was awesome and so was the house made potato chips. Generous portions. Friendly service.

This place is a hidden gem. The building looks like a tiny mess hall and everything in it is meant to give that feel, from the metal trays that food is served on to the forks and spoons which are definitely military surplus utensils. But even without the cool thematic touches, the food is outstanding. We think we might have had the best burger ever there. I cant recommend this joint enough.

It's like stepping back in time if you're a veteran, but the food is better. The owner is a vet that is also a Culinary Institute trained chef. Very limited menu that changes daily. Pretty sure menu gets posted to one of the social media outlets. The seating is also limited. Might be able to sit 15 inside. I was told that tables are set up outside in the warmer months, but inside is where this place shines. Military museum-like, with patron donated mementos decorating the walls and military seating arrangement. Highly recommend a visit.

There's no place quite like the mess hall. There's only one item on the menu for dinner each day and the food tastes great. There's a small are for eating-in. Many of the dinner crowd do take-out. There's nothing like a home cooked meal, especially when you doing have to cook it yourself!
