Flour and oak is a hidden gem. I was lucky enough to have had one of my classmates bring me here after a long day of studying. We were greeted with a friendly smile as soon as we entered and the ambiance of the restaurant it self was welcoming and warm. We were seated right away and welcomed by one of the waitresses. The waitresses Danielle, Noel, and Racquel were so friendly and attentive. They went over specials and we asked them what they would recommend. They were so knowledgeable of the menu, we felt like we could trust their opinions. We ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas that were bursting with flavor. Overall, we had a GREAT experience and I will definitely be back very soon !
I love this place! Great atmosphere and service. It’s one of the chillest quality spots on this unchill island. It’s a breath of fresh air here! A restaurant that hold their food to a high standard!
THE HOT ? SPOT will leave you wandering Staten Island looking for another spicy pizza!
Thanks guys
Really nice atmosphere, minimal wait at the bar while they were getting a table ready for us without a reservation for 5. Everyone we interacted with was very pleasant. The food was nice, it's just that I've had better pizza and better Canolis at other places, but I would go again.
Great place for a gourmet pizza and a glass of wine. I enjoyed the Bouquet pizza with its cream sauce, prosciutto, arugula, and cheese. Nice industrial modern decor, live mudic on Saturday night, and a friendly staff that functions well.
3rd and subsequent visits weren't as great as the first.
They closed on Friday before Labor Day weekend, posting a sign for you to see after you are already there. Today's Bouquet pizza had prosciutto sliced in such a big slab that I didn't recognize what it was, and the pizza itself was lackluster and not cooked enough/in a hot enough oven, not sure what wasn't right besides the hunks of meat.
Never seem to have the same staff there, after a handful of visits over the summer. It's proving disappointing after a promising start.
