“What I like about this place is their lunch special. For $10 you can choose from about 20 dishes, that come with fried rice and a soup. During lunch is almost always empty, so if you decide to sit in one of their ten booths, you'll get some nice quiet time. The food is very good but not 5 star good. “This is a kosher dairy restaurant. They are half French and half Italian. I'm referring to the menu, not the owner. The owner looks like a Jew from Morocco. But I'm not sure about his origins. I am sure that he is very nice. We visit this place a lot. Today, we went with a party of 10. They have personal pizza pies, eggplant parmesan (my favorite), all types of pasta (not my favorite), French onion soups and a large selection of fish dishes. Like Chilean sea bass, tuna steaks, etc. This is not a fast food place.”

Food took quite a while.... actually our appetizer came out almost immediately, but then our main dishes took a very long time, at least 20 minutes from when we were finished with the appetizer, sip lime 30 minutes from when we ordered, for a couple of pizzas, it felt like a very long wait. It's very loud inside... given we were waiting for food, would have been nice to have a conversation, but we're got tired of trying to tell over everyone else who had to yell to hear each other. I know it costs money, but there are lots of acoustic solutions to design ambient noise. With the open ceiling and all hard surfaces, the house in your establishment will be severe unless you seek a solution. The bar area having blaring music doesn't help either. Now obviously we still really enjoyed our food, and would probably consider returning, but we're still on the hunt for that perfect casual place with quick service and where we can leave without our ears ringing.”
