We just moved to the area. We had a favorite mom and pop shop where we used to live. I was sad to leave it. We were at our new house about 10 minutes and starving between moving. I called Upper Crust to order and explained we had nothing because we literally closed on our house about a half hour prior. The women I was speaking to was so kind. We were so hungry we had no idea what to order. Lol. We ended up with 2 pies, garlic knots and mac and cheese bites. When everything arrived there were plates, cups and a card welcoming us to the neighborhood. Not only doe sthe customer service rock but wow the food is amazing. 10 minutes in and we found our new forever pizza shop.
Upper Crust is great. The pizza is awesome, and they have lots of unique specialty flavors too. Also, check out the garlic knots. They're very different from garlic knots you would usually get - very fresh, and sort of like garlic fried dough. I got them on a whim once, and now I can't resist adding them to an order.
Cheese ravioli and meatballs was great. Do NOT order the fettuccine alfredo - separated sauce, chunky cheese part, butter pooling, served with regular spaghetti. One big glob by the time I got it home to eat. Yuck. Salad was fresh and simple.
Love the pizza here. I've tried a few local, popular pizzerias in Clifton Park and their pizza always felt greasy and not very flavorful, with mediocre crust. Upper Crust has a perfect pizza crust - it's crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. And the sauce is delicious. Their dinner dishes are really good, too. Their garlic knots are unique and tasty. I also love that they are very close to my house, and I don't have to fight traffic on 9 or 146 just to pick up dinner.
Literally the best slice in clifton park. I've been to every location around the area. If you want to try these guys out, walk in - ask for a slice of cheese. I'm almost certain you will agree. They have a very unique crust, super crispy on the bottom, but the pizza is actually not very thin. I highly recommend trying this place out. Don't let their SUPER ugly sign fool you. Oh yeah... for the owner of this place. GET A NEW SIGN!! It doesn't represent how well your pizza tastes. Seriously. Re-market your business!!!
