“This place used to be wonderful! The last few times the service was less than stellar and the food was mediocre. My son got a glass of milk and it was more like a milk slushy, it had frozen bits in it and his French toast was undercooked. We waited 45 minutes for our food, I'm pretty sure they had skipped our order somehow because people that came in after us had eaten and left by the time we got our food. Totally disappointing!”

“I have eaten here a few times now, and have been delighted every time! The service was quick and friendly (though I will admit, I was never there when they were packed). The food is delicious and high quality, cafe prices but you won't get ripped off. The true reason I make the 1 hour trip frequently is the tea, this is where I go to get my tea, as it is the most convenient location near me to get high quality loose tea! I bring my friends here and would highly recommend it for all tea drinkers!”

“Walked in to a really cute place in Ballston Spa. My wife and I sat in the bay window overlooking the Farmers Market on a Saturday morning. My wife and I both ordered the same meal, the roost brunch. It was delicious! Eggs over easy were perfect, came with bacon, sausage, and ham, and came with 2 of the best tasting waffles I've ever had. I was reluctant to coming to a new place with my wife, however, The Iron Roost is now a favorite! The staff were all super nice, without being fake about it. If you haven't been here, come here, you'll love the people, the atmosphere and especially the food!”

“Well all the Stewart shops within city limits have this needle dump box in their bathroom. It weird because in suburbs it doesn't exist. But our society tolerates this epidemic. Instead a ???? video should put in front or by their restroom location. And check each time a customers go in and come out. These needle boxes are made to be in hospitals or medical offices. But the employees who work for Stewart's shop. Were attentive to all the customers that day i was briefly there”

“I am taking into account that the people who work here expect that this store will be shuttered soon and a likely new store will open closer to Exit 10 that will have fully open new job positions. Stewart's could do much better in how they treat their employees; that is why I am not rating this location even lower. However the service has been increasingly bad recently, and I am now resolved to avoid this store as much as possible and go to the one on Main Street in Jonesville instead. Responding to Stewart's response: That's fine, but please treat your employees better as well. Most likely there would be fewer customer complaints about attitude.”

“The Eggs Benedict was delicious (and the eggs were poached, not fried). My wife enjoyed her breakfast sandwich. The corned beef hash was tasty and obviously homemade. The home fries were perfectly prepared and portions were generous. The coffee was standard cafe style and by the third refill the smell of dish soap had rinsed off the mug. knowing with certainty soap was used to clean the dishes was a bonus I guess. It is nicely lit and well decorated. It was busy without seeming crowded.”
