“Recommend by a local, we were warned about the lines...see we got there early. I am glad we did as the restaurant filled up shortly after we sat down. Very friendly service, it was like everyone knew us, yet it was our first time there. Great bottomless coffee (their own blend), excellent jams, omelettes/eggs, home fries and the like. When you look at the photos please note I stole my wife's home fries. Yum!”

The staff - excellent. Portions - super generous. Not one bad thing I could say about this place. Someone in my party said “I think I have the worst thing at the table and I still love it! Conscientious staff, quick to serve and a nice and clean environment. Parking is a little scarce since it's downtown Saratoga and all. Public garage is only a block and a half away and likely the easiest place to find a spot.”

“We had dinner here for the first time tonight. When we left, I couldn't help but wonder why we hadn't been sooner. Very nice location, staff is super friendly, and the food was out of this world. I ordered the kobe flank steak. It came cooked perfectly. It was some of the best beef I've ever had. I could cut it with my fork it was that tender. Absolutely amazing. Definitely picture worthy. Unfortunately, by the time I thought about it my steak was no longer with us. ???? And for the non meat eaters, there were a lot of vegan and gluten free options on the menu. Everyone loved their meals and we had a great time. Cannot recommend enough.”

“Food was excellent. Got the 3 course early bird special pork chop. However, the waiter forgot my soup which came with the meal and when I asked, he said oh sure did forget it. It is in my window do you still want it. I of course said yes since it was included in the price. He brought it out and never once said he was sorry. So now I had a French onion soup crock and my meal at the same time. You would of thought he would have offered to add a scoop of ice cream which was a buck more to my included apple crisp dessert or something. But no. I think he might of been having a bad day as I don't think he smiled even once. Excellent food but service has no smile.”

“Hadn't been for a while as the last time we were there we weren't impressed with the GARLIC Texas toast French toast (garlic and maple syrup not to our liking). That being said, the home fries were the best. That was then, this is now: the cook must have changed how he makes home fries. They were cut twice as big and parboiled before going on the grill. The rest of our breakfast was good. Luckily, we timed our visit just right and didn't have to wait and had an awesome waitress.”

Price: pasta dish was bland, hardly any chicken or broccoli (that we paid an extra price for). Disappointed with that; however, my salad was big and very tasty! Wings were small but good.”

Alex & Miranda were happy & enthusiastic & gave quick service, have never seen that at Stewart's at least on a consistent basis in a long time. Hope they remain employees, not sure who the third girl was but she also seemed to enjoy working there, so refreshing to see! Today's date is September 21st at around 4pm”

“We have family near to Saratoga Springs & often eat at the Local when we're over there. Two things that I've noticed every time we've gone: 1) They take your drink order right away, & then your food takes forever. (Hoping you'll drink more while waiting??) Even when it's not busy, the food seems to take a long time. 2) It is extremely noisy--sometimes hurt-your-ears noisy. Otherwise, the Grilled Chicken on flat bread sandwich is delicious! They have a pretty substantial menu & rotating Craft Beers on tap. They also have a child's portion menu. They have outdoor seating for warm weather. (Some people might not like the little things that occasionally fall from the trees, but that doesn't bother me.) It is waaay quieter! The rest of our family loves it there. As for friendliness of waiters, we've never had an unfriendly waiter.”

“Worst margarita I've ever had. Sent it back and had a beer. Table next to us had same problem. Inept bartender, I guess. I've been there in the past and pizza looked good and hummus plate was great. Rib appetizer was boring. Beet salad was fresh but not not super. Fish tacos are good but not worth going back for. And it's smelled like septic problems for a year. Outside was nice. Maybe three stars was generous and I'll just stick to the hummus plate and a beer at the bar.”
