Mari's Japanese Cuisine

Nice quaint place to have an authentic Japanese dinner. Food and service is always very good.

Best Japanese in the area. It is authentic and was originally owned and run by Japanese family. I believe a longtime worker they trained well now runs it with great pride. Its a little pricey and the area is a bit shady. I wish they were on a main street like Union Street or Central Avenue and that they had more customers so they wouldn't have to have so high prices. I normally can't eat raw fish sushi pieces, especially from these Chinese/Korean owned and run Japanese restaurants all over the capital district. But Mari's sushi is so fresh, melt in your mouth and no fishy taste. Not sure about their ramen if its authentic, that's new on the menu, after the original Japanese owner Mari sold the place. Anyways solid food and service but a bit pricey. I wish I got to try their match tiramisu, oh well,maybe on my birthday.

A favorite location for japanese food. one of the best spots in the area. i had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. prices are appropriate for the quality. this place has many great reviews for a reason.

Delicious food, quiet, good prices. Had the sukiyaki, very tasty broth and veggies. They were out of beef, which was disappointing, so had chicken.

Decent quality food. Sushi is of good quality and the rolls are well prepared. The portions are on the smaller side for the price and the rice bowls are a little too heavily sauced for my tastes. Service is quick and not too overbearing. Good atmosphere and comfortable chairs. Multiple parking spaces around the building both in front and around to the side. One of the better Japanese places in the area 9/10
