“For the most part I am pleased with the customer service of the workers at this location...my only issue is I often have complaints about the coffee...when I ask them to put in the cream and sugar I end up with luke warm coffee and I always have to ask for a stir to mix the sugar and cream that was added ..why????? they know the products they add is not blended into the coffee..(how do they expect one to mix it..use your longest finger)..☝️,????.and on another note if I ask for the cream and sugar on the side...please I'm paying for it ..give the amount I ask for...When there is a complaint the matter is handled professionally”

“I've eaten here since day one of the Olympic Diner opening. I wish I can give it 4.5 because that's being honest. The food is good... Sometimes Great... It's not hit or miss. It's consistent and quality. But sometimes things are missing. Don't know if it's the wait staff or kitchen... I mean along the lines of if you order a French Dip... And you don't get the Au Jus. Along those lines. It's not every time but occasionally. There was a time a few years back where my whole family and myself felt the food quality was declining. But it changed and got better. So that is a good thing to note. Otherwise it's a great place to eat.”

“Let's face it their burgers are awesome. My issue is with their prices!! How is it possible that a slider, a fourth of a burger, is more expensive than a regular sized burger??! They're hardly any deals. I can drive away spending under$25 for 4/5 people at Wendy's, Burger King & McDonald's, but spend at least that amount for 2 people at White Castle. If you're on a budget, don't go, can't recommend it. It's good but I shouldn't need to have deep pockets just to enjoy a mini burger. So when you go because it is good just be prepared to pay, really pay it.”

The service really impressed me though, our waiter was extremely friendly and very attentive and went to great lengths explaining everything as it was my first time. the manager even came over to check on us. “The services and staff are great. The subs we got were tasty and they paid attention to special requests -- A+ for that. My hesitation is the ratio between price and taste. Various locally owned places serve subs that are just as good for less money. Prices are controlled by corporate so I'm not criticizing the local management at all -- they run a great business. The bottom line is they're good but I wasn't blown away enough to justify the slightly higher price. I will, however, try a different sub eventually and see if that changes my mind. In short, Jersey Mike's gives Subway serious competition and the Deer Park location has a terrific staff.”

“I actually don't eat here, but my wife adores this place. She loves spicy foods like Morrissey loves singing about being miserable, and this place brings the heat -- literary and figuratively. Seriously, this is the first time that she told me some of the food is *too* spicy. I can't handle spicy food, as I really do not like it when unwelcome flames sprout from my vocal chords, so I trust in her judgement about the intensity and authenticity of the food here. Something that I can get behind, however, is the value of the food -- they give you boatloads for a pretty reasonable price, so our fridge always has some ready-to-heat-up leftovers on hand. So, if you love spicy food or really need help draining your sinuses in five seconds flat, check this place out.”

“Previous owners are gone, thank goodness. Pizza was oily, not sure they used real cheese. New owner Johnny makes a great pie. Unfortunately so far he has not been able to erase the bad reputation the previous owner gave it. I normally get a round pie with sausage. Not oily at all, cheese is creamy and real, sauce is good, crust is flavorful and cooked as you ask for it. If you ask for well done, that's what you get. I usually freeze left over slices and reheat in oven. Let people know we finally have a decent pizza place in Deer Park.”
