Friendly's Ice Cream Shop

Stopped by for lunch post workout with a friend. Everything was made fast, hot, fresh and delicious. Waitresses were friendly and helpful and patient. Brownie sundae is delicious!

Great for a quick bite while on lunch break. In and out in 45 minutes or less.

Friendly's? Not so much. The cashier looked as excited to be there as I was to look at his bland expression. No greeting, no hello, just "what did you want?". On the other end of the spectrum the ice cream was good. The Sunday was tasty and the 4.99 cup was just enough for an after dinner treat. I haven't been to. Friendly in a while just for ice cream and though the service was below par the treat was decent. If I'm around here again I'd probably return just hope the cashier is a little friendlier.

It gets 3 because the ice cream is still excellent. My 7 year old says the grilled cheese is good. I say the same for the supermelts. My wife hasn't liked anything there, burgers, chicken sandwich, salads, none of that stuff is any good. So depending what you order, you may or may not like this place, but no argument about the ice cream, that's fantastic.
