One of my favorite places to meet friends, business partners and family celebrations. For five years I have never been disappointed. Thank you!
Small octopus plate was good, salty and sweet tones to it. It was the perfect size to my charcuterie board appetizer! Their farm to table menu was especially delicious, I would recommend opting for the three course. Their lava cake was a great size and not too overpowering. Service was great, and a very homey atmosphere!
Went for a baby shower and the location is fantastic. Water is right there! Plenty of parking in front or on the side. The old building is beautiful and gives a nice feeling to any party that would be had there. I give it 4 stars bc I was not in love with the food. It was good but not great.
I love this place. Special Tuesday night menu for Taps and Apps night. Wednesday night is half price on a bottle of wine. Staff is wonderful. My onlg criticism is that the kitchen closes early at 9pm. However nights like yesterday, they closed by 8:30pm without much warning. I have seen customers walk out because of this poor practice of closing the kitchen early and go down the road for food. It seems like a small thing to keep the kitchen open until 10pm, especially considering that it is an inn with overnight guests.
We went for restaurant week because the choices looked interesting. Turned out that they were delicious too. We shared two appetizers, Scallop and salmon terrine served with pickled onions and yuzu mayonnaise and caramelized onion and fig tart with goat cheese. They were both excellent. We then both had the pork chop over an amazing sauerkraut and a sausage on top. It was cooked perfect. Pork chop tender and juicy, sausage a perfect little crunch on the outside juicy inside. I finished with a ginger tart which I loved every bite of. My wife had an apple tart which she loved. I don't eat cooked apples so I'll go with her loving it. Even the decaf coffee was good. What made it better was that the service was impeccable, efficient and super friendly. The ambiance was a little hard for me as the room was a little too bright and the burnt orange wallpaper was not my taste. I would definitely go back.
