    Sure, Jungle Pete’s had shuffleboard, and the tab was occasionally paid with artwork from JP, but Springs Tavern has really great food. As it’s Good Friday, I sat at the bar and enjoyed the swordfish and a Patron margarita. Outstanding. And, every 10 songs or so on the jukebox was Donald Fagen or Steely Dan. Good times.

    While in the east Hampton area take the time to stop at this unassuming off the beaten path local hangout that was once the favourite watering hole of the likes of Jackson Pollack and his equally brilliant wife Lee Krasner. The food is unpretentious, rustic and fresh. Get some mussels and fish tacos!!
