La Parma II Italian Restaurant

Still one of the best Italian restaurants on Long Island. The sauce tastes just like Grandma's and mussels marinara are plump delicate and a delicious treat for your palate. I have never had had a bad experience yet. So far every entree has been delicious! The service was personal and excellent!

Dined here with the family on New Year's Eve and had an early seating at 5pm. We have been doing this for years. La Parma doesn't disappoint. Best place on Long Island for family style Italian. Must get the chicken scarparella campagnola off the bone - fabulous. Penne a la vodka is terrific. Huge wine list with reasonable prices. Servers are very helpful. No question we'll be back next year.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants on Long Island! Here are just a few must-order dishes (all done up family style):
1. Black & white lobster ravioli with a tomato cognac cream sauce, topped with rock shrimp (AMAZING but not on the menu/wall board & not always available)
2. Calamari marinara (so tender, cooked to perfection, not fried)
3. Linguini with white clam sauce (big fresh chunks of clams with a light yet flavorful sauce)
Patrons are treated very well in this restaurant, always with a warm greeting from front desk personnel. The waitstaff are always professional, friendly, and skilled in the art of serving. And the parking tends to be valet. (One observation: a parking attendant was smoking, so in just the small amount of time he drove our car to us, our auto interior wreaked of cigarette smoke! YUCK????) Take note: you will see some of the largest garlic cloves around, popping up in your dishes, so if you love that flavor, you will be in heaven.

I love this place! Everything ITALIAN BELLA!???? Bathroom has Italian music, waiters feel old world Italian. Food fresh, hot and delightful. I highly recommend ????????

Great family style old style Italian. Busy dining room, lots of action. Classic menu printed in the walls. Servers have a great attitude and will help making sure u order the correct amount given the family style portions.
