Old Fields Restaurant Greenlawn

Started great and got better. Rob managed to get us a table for 8 people at 7pm on Saturday when we called him at noon. Table was ready. Our server was AWESOME. It was my wife birthday and she was thrilled at the dinner and service. Food was outstanding. We had various steak offerings and all were great. The potato chip and bacon appetizers were really good. Dessert is also great. We frequently dine here and recommend to everyone

Classic spot for a good burger or brunch item. Really fun place to go with friends - small groups or larger groups. They can accommodate a fairly large group. Wait times are worth sticking out.

French onion soup is one of my favorites.
Burgers knock it out of the park every time.
Bloody Marys come with sassy additions other than the classic celery stalk.
Decent beers on tap, quality cocktails, nice wine selection.

I have really never had a mediocre experience here except the last time I came with about 10 people for brunch for a friends birthday. Brunch options include no sweet items like pancakes or waffles...not even chicken and waffles. That was kind of a bummer for my fiance. I had an OK BLT that brunch. Every other time we visit it's been a homerun of a meal, no question. It's one of my fiance's favorite places to go for delicious and perfectly made steaks with his guy friends.

If not for that last experience, It'd be a 5-star. It will certainly not keep me from going back many times, and I can't wait to try their BBQ spot in Huntington.

Our go to spot when we stay local. Always great service. Comfort food done with care. I can't pinpoint all the changes they have made to the menu since the last time I was there but I do like the new layout.

The best skirt steak ever !! It’s packed with flavor it’s so well marinated and always cooked perfectly. The clam chowder is really good it’s not the creamiest but it has corn and bacon so you really can’t go wrong. The ice box cake is always so good for dessert.

This place is a classic. It is part pub, part steakhouse, and altogether a good neighborhood restaurant. Not as fancy as a classic steakhouse, but more friendly and home like. I recommend it. It can get noisy at times, especially Sunday brunch, which is great, but still a very fine restaurant that has been around for years.
