Ruth's Chris Steak House

Had dinner at the new Ruth's Chris in Lake Grove. I'm a big fan of Ruth's Chris, have eaten at there restaurants all over including Cabo. It's pricey, but all good steak house's are. We like to have a drink at the bar before dinner. Unfortunately the bar was disorganized and the bar staff seemed to be having some issues. Fortunately, our table was ready early and we sat at the table and had a drink before ordering our meal. Our waitress was very nice lacked a little of the polish I expect from a Ruth's Chris, but overall it was good. Food was good and cooked well. This is a new location and for the few things that weren't up to snuff, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another try.

Went there tonight with a few friends and had a great experience! We’ve all been to many high end steakhouses and actually appreciated that the interior felt a bit less stuffy than your classic steak house. We sat in the bar area and had Dennis as a waiter. Dennis was absolutely amazing! Not only was he super friendly and knowledgeable, but he actually took the time to learn our names.

We ordered the Calamari and stuffed mushroom appetizers, which were both delicious. Then we got porterhouse and filet and they were flavorful and tender. Would definitely recommend!

The corporate version of a high-end steakhouse. The actual steak was not bad but the menu and sides left a lot to be desired. The creamed spinach and lobster bisque were offensively bad. I’d say drive down the road to Vinatge/Insignia/Pace’s if you’re looking to drop some cash on a quality steakhouse experience.

Had a wonderful Xmas eve lunch with my family today for our first time trying out this new Ruth's Chris. We have been to the one in Manhattan and Garden City many times and this one was right up there with them. Food was excellent. Our server Tony was awesome. Great guy. Very personable and did a killer job taking care of us. Love the fact that I can travel 15-20 mins from home to go to Ruth's now and not 45 to an hour.
