“In fairness, they havejust reopened. Skippers was a well kept North Fork secret for decades. Expectations were certainly high walking in. Skippers 2 does not meet the same standard as the original. Maybe in time it will, we'll see (but not too soon). French fries were barely warm and tasted like cardboard. They quickly replaced them, saying, "We keep them under a heat lamp, they should be hot" . YUCK, serve them FRESH. The Cod Fish sandwich was not Cod Fish , maybe frozen flounder, and quite over done. Honestly, the lunch I had rated one star, but I gave them a 3 for benefit of the doubt for being very new.”

“Takeout seafood in the style of a New England clam shack. Three different types of lobster rolls for only $22 with fries (a very good price in the North Fork.) The fried calamari with aioli and peperoncini was great too. Mostly takeout, has a few tables in front to eat on site, or walk over to Mitchell Park and enjoy the view while you eat.”

“For years Claudio's has graced the Greenport Harbor, but now it does so in a new style after undergoing closure and renovations. There are three dining choices right here, but when in good weather like Memorial Day weekend, the outdoor Waterfront and Crabby Jerry's is drawing the more crowds plus there is music. And there is dock space for those that come by boat. The views and outdoor vibes mixed with clams and oysters, and a cocktail of your choice screams summer is coming. Although reservations are not required as the summer heats up a plan to get a seat at your favorite spot to the dine, check their website for live music events. There is paid to park for boats, and we parked a few blocks away, but there are places closer. There is a quaint downtown to visit. Ah, the sounds and smell of summertime, you can taste it here.”

Service extremely slow and not attentive, food - I can only judge on what I have ordered: meat/cheeses board - I have enjoyed cheeses, but instead of meat cuts, I was served with few slices of average salami and not good smoked sausage. Crab cakes were just OK, but nothing special. Drinks were good. The prices of menu rather on high end - cannot judge if price set appropriately or not. Really good compliment to music - beautiful live blues played by live musician. Was expecting more. Will give them break though - they just opened and oiling the wheels in process. Next time in town will go for drinks and music... Good luck, and hope for improvement.”

“Love Billy's as it is so close to the beach and great for the casual dinner while you're still in your flip-flops. The food is good...not fine dining but great choices for kids and a quick bite. I love going for a drink at night...great set up. The only reason I give it one-less-than-perfect stars is because there can be a lot of mosquitoes....don't go there without the bug spray!”
