“My home away from home for many years. The last few days have scared me. They were closed Thursday night, and Friday night. By then there was a note on the door saying. .... Closed for the weekend (no reason given), re~open on Tuesday. A friend was there Wednesday evening and said that he had to keep switching brands of beer because they ran out of them all. Bad Sign. Also heard that their lot with the pole barn went at auction a few weeks ago?! There are stories of changing locks, etc, but these things can take on a life of their own. “The food is good. AND, if you catch the owner on a good day he's a joy. But, on my very first visit I watched a very angry owner/operator chase at least 15 people out of this place around lunch on a Tuesday, without ordering. I know some folks have bad days and all but you can't be verbally berating your customers. Is there any way to get an intern or p/t help on Tuesdays and during events? That may alleviate some of the stress of doing everything yourself.”

“The best Pizza around hands down. The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings fresh and tasty. The place gets crowded in the summer because the food is good, so be prepared to wait a bit. Don't let the wait bother you as you will have one of the best views in Sullivan County. The restaurant is situated on the lake, so get a table outside, relax, sip a cocktail, and enjoy the lakeside view!”

“The portions were surprisingly large. The food was good and the service was adequate. Great views of the water while eating lakeside. Weekend wait times can be long,so you may want to call ahead to check. They allowed us to leave a cell number for notification when a table became available, but other than 3 or 4 other restaurants within walking distance there isn't anything else to do while you wait. I believe we went on a fri or sat night at around 830 and all the restaurants right there were quoting 45 to an hour wait. It only turned out to be about 15 minutes, as I suspect many people left there names on the list and ultimately chose to go elsewhere. I would go again. A few people actually had their dogs with them @ dinner. They seemed to be allowed (at least outside on the deck anyway). I like dogs and these dogs were well behaved. Mine would have been in begging heaven. :)”
