“It's a modern day Mayberry at the Cacklin' Hen. Starting from the quaint front porch with it's swinging screen door. Everyone, not just the staff was welcoming. You feel like you belong there. The colors are bright and cheerful, the decor is fun and quirky and the kitchen is in full view and all the customers can interact with the kitchen staff as their food is being prepared. I wanted to try this place for a while and I'm really glad I did. 😊 i loved it.”

“Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place in the Catskills. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here with our dog. Justin, Saudy, and the entire staff that worked on site were extremely nice and accommodating with any and all of our requests. The room was clean and comfortable. Getting a table for outdoor dining at the tavern was a challenge, but getting the food to go to eat by the fire pit made up for it. We enjoyed the mini hiking trails by the back along with the lawn games that are easily accessible. We will definitely return and recommend this place to friends and family.”

“Wish I could give 10 stars. We had the best time at our stay at Callicoon Hills! The resort is beautiful with every detail considered. The staff was friendly, the vibe was fun and laid back. We brought our dog along for the weekend and she had a great time too! Food at the restaurant was delicious (awesome menu with good options) and cocktails were even better. Highly recommend this place, we can't wait to return!”

“The North Branch Inn is the perfect little getaway! We stayed in the Post Office. The rooms are adorable and very clean.The entire staff is so incredibly kind and accommodating. Nicole and Stacy were super nice and very helpful in giving recommendations for things to do. Martha at the Inn’s restaurant was stellar! Not to mention the restaurant was fabulous! The food and drinks were marvelous and if you're up for it try your hand at bowling on their 100 year old hand carved alleys- so fun! You can tell there was time and detail put into every space. From top to bottom this place is lovely and full of character. If you're looking for a romantic weekend away, an escape from the city, for just want to experience the charm of Upstate New York than you need to come to North Branch.”

The server is not friendly at all and we think she forgot us since it took so long before she took our order. She slams the plates down on the table. If it's too hard to be pleasant to customers or people in general then find another line of work. It goes for the owner too.”

“Great Chinese food. Love everything I have ever gotten from here. They deliver to Villa Roma if you dont want to make the drive but I always head down myself and order there and take it back so I can make sure order is right and see how they make it. Lil greasy but hey its Chinese food. Never any funny business they nail everything and have never let me down year after year. Wish i could go more often because i like it more than the Chinese by me in Westchester lol.”
