This is my second time coming here and the food and service was just as exceptional if not better! I love Korean food and this place does it right! The japchae could be a little less soupy but that’s the only critique I have!

Freaking amazing. I’ve been here like 10 times in one semester!! The hospitality is unmatched (like the sweet Korean grandma serving us our food or when they gave us extra mashed potatoes). The fried chicken with the sauce is like CRACK and their kimchi hot pot is so flavorful. They give you huge portions so there’s enough to take home (especially the hot pot). I’ve tried a lot of their appetizers too and none have disappointed (would recommend the octopus balls or seafood pancake or pork dumplings. Everyone needs to go here for Korean food!!

One of the best Korean restaurants I’ve found which creates food which tastes like home-made food. We ordered Bulgogi. Thin-sliced meat was accompanied with a tender delicious meat sauce, delicate vegetables, and transparent noodle. Touch of spices special for Korean cuisine, bowls with rice, soup and baked omelette made this dish a heartwarming experience for us on a rainy day. Our waiter was very attentive and explained us what is the recommended way in mixing ingredients in our plates to get the best taste experience. Thank you Kim Chi restaurant, we highly appreciate our evening with you!

Kimchi is a restaurant with incredible food and even better service! I dined here last night with my parents and we ordered the takoyaki (fried octopus balls) for an appetizer which was delicious. Then my parents split a bulgogi beef BBQ which came with various unpictured sides, including rice, kimchi, miso soy soup, and egg custard. I ordered the sundubu jjigae, which was a tasty stew of soft tofu, chicken, various vegetables in a spicy broth, with a side of rice. Everything is very well priced for the amount of food served, and the restaurant staff were kind and helpful. I can’t wait to eat here again!

    감사합니다, 너무 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다!!
I was so excited to try out a new Korean place in town, and they really did not disappoint! The menu is extensive and even offers a vegetarian section. I was craving something that had more of a home cooked feel, so I ordered the grilled mackerel, which comes with a side of dwenjang jjigae (Korean miso soup) and rice. Unfortunately, you have to pay for their banchans (side dishes) unless you order one of the larger shared meals, but it was honestly worth it. The kimchi was delicious. The fish was grilled perfectly, and the soup was a lovely complement for it all. The full meal felt like I was eating a meal my mom had made for me.
In addition, the manager and employees were incredibly kind. They packed some extras in with my order: a side of steamed egg, as well as an extra container of cucumber kimchi. I was so grateful for this gesture of kindness.
Thank you, Kimchi, for this meal! I will most definitely be back and will be spreading the word about this new restaurant.
