Palizzata

Music selection is tasteful, food is delightful and will bring a smile to your face (try the chicken tartufusa or the carrot soup!), dishes are plated with class, and the martinis made by Shayne are incredibly smooth. The most delicious food I've had in town. Atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Will return and highly recommend.

We currently live in Bologna where we have been spoiled by the local cuisine. Before we moved there, we had two very good meals at Palizzata. I can now say that they compare very favorably with food in the city that is described as having the best food in Italy. And the service and atmosphere were wonderful.

Our server was nice, everything we tried was delicious and they where flexible with our dietary needs. Definitely will come back again for another meal.

Eaten there twice, both times food was excellent. Not too salty, oily, or over seasoned, perfect balance. Service suberb as well. Only complaint is the squid ink pasta not on the menu the second visit. Hope it comes back, we definitely will.

Very pleasant experience. Barely 2 months old and they are doing a fine job. Classy renovation in a space that has hosted several failed restaurants, Palizzata has filled a
niche. Perfectly prepared Octopus, fresh Papardelle and Shrimp in a pleasantly lemony garlic sauce, beautiful and delicious Duck Breast and a simple meat sauce with, again, fresh pasta. All winners! A worthy addition to the many wonderful restaurants in the Stockade!
