Honestly a mix of a 3 and a 5. 5 for value (fresh food good menu and reasonable prices) but a 3 for truly lackluster service. Bacon was cold, had to ask for butter 3x, potatoes came 10 minutes after mains and no, they were neither slammed nor remotely apologetic about the timings.

Best place I’ve eaten in a while! I live in New Paltz and the drive was worth it. Cheap and simply amazing.

Great spot for a quick bite or a cozy dinner. I have gone here for lunch dates with friends to Anniversary dinners (casual to fancy). I have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

A delight of a restaurant in upstate New York. Exceptional food and service. With locally sourced food and drinks served throughout the menu and a brilliant local foods pantry next door. A must visit if you are in Kingston area. The best food around.

My wife and I like to come here for day dates. It's usually populated by a variety of people, from the neighborhood Bohemians to the well-to-do housewives and everything in between. The menu tends to be short but well cultvated. You have choices ranging from vegans soups and sandwiches to fancy build your own burgers. They usually keep a handful of craft beers on tap and local choices and others in bottles and cans. It's worth checking out the cocktail list while you're at it.
Service is relaxed and non-aggressive so don't expect to be doted on or feeling like they're hanging over your shoulder.
You'll have a nice view of the street at this corner location in uptown Kingston.
Prices are good too with a lot of value for your dollar. We always like eating here without the kids because we'll get good food for two with drinks while spending less than $70.
