Service is excellent. The smoked pork is very good. Price is right. Alfresco dining option in good weather is attractive with a nice view of the Rondout Creek. Pass the time with a drink and a parade of boats coming in from the Hudson River.
Waitress was sweet but only one serving. Food seemed to take a long time but once it arrived it was delicious
My son's wedding reception was there and there was a mistake on the food for the venue. Ole Savannah not only fixed the problem, they upgraded the menu to prime rib which was $4.00 more per guest, and there where 70 guest. Ole Savannah did not charge my son for the upgrade. The service was quick and the staff was awesome. Oh, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend them and we will certainly use them in the future.
Nice place. We had a fundraiser for our friend here, and the staff was more than accommodating. Tough to say what they have on the menu, but we had an all-you-can-eat breakfast and brunch spread. More than enough food for everyone. If I had one small qualm, the refilling of water wasn't frequent. They decided to leave pitchers on the table, which should have been done in the beginning. Plenty of parking. My next time in town, I will give this place a real try.
Ole Savannah has a great menu with delicious options, and customer service focused staff. I recommend all of their meats including the pulled pork, steak, and salmon. Even their appetizers are delicious - corn fritters, fried green tomatoes..
I've dined at the restaurant a few times and had catering for an offsite event by them also. Their restaurant is a beautifully restored ferry boat factory. Huge ceiling, nice woodwork and a fun atmosphere.
Their catering was delicious - every guest I spoke to loved their food, not a single complaint. Their servers were good, but they could have showed up better prepared. They also seemed to have cleaned up too fast for some of my guests to get seconds or third helpings. Aside from that, they were a hit.
While they're not cheap, I thought they were fairly priced. Their admin of catering contracts was a bit messy too, but they made it right in the end. I shopped around quite a bit for a good and affordable caterer - Ole Savannah was our caterer and I'm glad I picked them.
