The Station

I think first and foremost I want to shout out Bill, our waiter, because he was fantastic. The restaurant was very slow for a Friday night at 6:30. It was my table and one other; although 2 or 3 more would later join as we were leaving at 7:30-8. Bill was attentive and had a lot of character. I wish every dining experience had a waiter like him. The food was good and well prepared. I really liked the snap peas as a side on the samtimbocca with chicken. I do wish the appetizer list had a few more non-seafood options. I'd recommend for a nice night out.

A great local find for family dinner! The food and service were fabulous. They made handmade pasta fresh every day and were nice enough to accommodate eating needs for our 15 month daughter. Very well decorated and desserts are amazing. I order the fra diavolo and my husband had penne a la vodka. All delicious!

The food is always excellent and the service is top-notch. I typically go during the week when the place is empty, but I'm told reservations are encouraged on the weekends. The prices aren't out of the box but definitely not cheap either. It has a nice patio right by the rail trail for the summertime, is located across the street from the Water-Street Market and 100 yards from one of the best places in New Paltz to watch the sun disappear over the mountains. Recommend to out-of-towners looking for fine dining.

The perfect place for a delicious and romantic dinner! Best calamari I've ever had! Thanks to Bill for taking good care of us!

La stazion was amazing. The shrimp over pasta was perfect. Also the antipasto had a nice combination and the fresh baked bread and oil was great! The atmosphere was elegant with dimly lit candlelight. Excellent wine choices too.
