best pizza I’ve had in a while! I never eat the crust but I can’t help myself when it comes To flames’s pizza????. Their wings are top notch, above satisfactory. Service was also super great !

Okay, now this is epic. Flames has HANDS DOWN the nicest staff and best pizza. Behind counter, we have three pizza specialist who drive up an hour everyday to pursue their dream. They have come from far and wide, and studied the art of pizza making from Dutch Pizza craftsman, Sam Hyde. With their knowledge, and diverse influences, they assemble an unstoppable pizza team. Inspired by avant-garde pizza creations, they are known for original toppings; including but not limited to Chinese food, boneless, and spaghetti, just to name a few. Stop on by and get a taste of Flames!

Hands down, best pizza in town! True NY pizza is hard to come by these days, but look no further when In New Paltz. From the fresh goods to the perfect crust, my week isn’t complete with out of slice of flames pizza!

A very pleasing staff just makes everything that much better, great energy all around.

Many gave this place five or four stars reviews, but my experience was not one of a five star pizza joint. First the good, or what this place is doing right: they have a good selection of slices and a good menu, their interior is very nice, their location is great, and their pizza is tasty. Now for what didn't do it for me: I went here with my wife and we got two slices to split. They put the two slices in the oven for what seemed like 15 seconds, then served us up. I initially thought this was just fast service, but when I ate my pizza it was cold. They weren't particularly busy or short staffed, so why rush our slices? They need to work on this. Second, while the pizza was tasty, I felt the dough was a bit chewy and almost rubbery. I didn't even finish all my crust, which is unusual for me. So they have much room for improvement and they most certainly are not a five star pizza joint. My fellow New Yorkers need to have higher standards when it comes to pizza. Good does not equal great and this place was just good.
