Rocking Horse Ranch Resort

This is a great place for vacation! The esthetic is really cozy and nice. The horse back riding is really fun and easy. I recommend bundling up in the winter since it gets very cold though. The food is good and at dinner time they have a chocolate fondue fountain which tastes delicious! The only downside for me is they didn’t have yellow mustard, but that wasn’t a big problem. The rooms are nice and the beds are pretty comfy. Hands down the best part of this place is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. When I went skiing for the first time an extremely helpful and nice worker (Ivy) helped me and my friends. On our first night staying we got the waitress Laurie (I think that was the name) who was very nice and helpful as well. There was some staff that when talking to their friends cussed, but overall staff is amazing. The indoor water park was fun. The water slide the fast enough to have fun but safe enough for smaller kids to go down. Another good staff member was the lifeguard named Tyler (Once again I think that’s the name but I’m not sure). He was really friendly and nice to the kids and adults. I would definitely come here again!

Rooms are very nice. Love the indoor pool and ice skating. My favorite things to do are ski and tubing.

Only came for one day-night, First time here with kids and grandchildren. That said... we will be back for a longer stay in the future. This is one of the best resorts I have been to. The staff was patient and kind with everyone, The facilities were clean and well cared for. And despite being completely *full* for a school holiday week, nothing was overcrowded. A good time was had by all! Thank you for your hospitality! (Only 1 negative issue - a 15% New York State ^Resort Tax^ is absurd! Shame on NY to deter tourism in this way!)

Best place ever they have the friendly and kind staff they have the best staff when it comes making feel at home , what me and my family loved is when it comes to breakfast lunch and dinner the staff in the dining hall they are the best and very friendly and they keep the hall clean. The staff at the ROCKING HORSE RANCH KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY AND KEEPS YOUR FAMILY BUSY AND ENTERTAINED. Love this place and I will keep going.

Great time with family. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was better than expected. Patient instructors taught my 4 year old and 8 year old how to ski. My husband and I were shocked. Plenty of things to do. Only downside was temperature of pool could have been warmer. Will return.
