Highly recommend the cheese and salami/prosciutto appetizers and trout & steak entrees. All food was amazing. Great cocktails selection and extensive wine list.
Great location. Nice small bar - 10 seats at bar, 8 small tables
Streamside dining on Esopus. Had salmon - good portions.
Had a reservation but still had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. Hostess was really on another planet. Waited at the hostess desk for over 10 minutes before anyone came over to check in customers waiting and this was only because one of the guys yelled for some service. After we were sat at the table we waited more than 10 minutes for anyone to take a drink order. We really waited so long that we said 'if someone doesn't come in the next 5 minutes to get a drink order we should walk out.' The food was blah and really nothing I would ever order again. Super disappointing since the Emerson is considered a 'five star' resort for the area. A huge opportunity missed for the Emerson.
It was Wednesday Trivia Night at the bar area. Fun, along with a small buffet of sliders, wings and fries...nice, and all for $10. Was accompanied by 2 beers for $18.00 grand total for one person. GREAT.
This was my first time at Woodnotes Grille at the Emerson, although I am local to the neighborhood. The food was very good and at a very reasonable price point. Our waitress was very helpful as well. The smoked salmon omelette was amazing and the coffee was endless.
