Visiting the area from NYC for some hiking and can honestly say I've never had a breakfast this good in a very long time. Everything homemade, generous portions, and great service. The house sausage and chorizo hash are amazing. Going back for mothers day!
Excellent french toast. Wonderful spanish omlete and delicious pancakes a must visit for everyone in Town.
Just went here this morning after being out of state for 15 years and it was amazing. I read the reviews and took note of the complaints and concerns but saw none of the reported issues. We were a table of 3, ordered 3 meals, juice, and coffee. The portions were more than generous. None of us were able to finish all we were given.
One ordered pancakes, and was told he could order just one, or a short or tall stack, and provided fresh local maple syrup as well, for a small price.
I had the huevos rancheros. The eggs were perfect to order and the tortillas under it all were amazing. I didn't really expect to notice or taste them under all the other flavors, but they were fresh and very flavorful. Everything was fresh and hot.
Our third ordered french toast, brioche for the bread. There were two large, thick slices cooked perfectly. She loved as much as she could eat of them, and took home a nice sized container of leftovers.
As we sat down, the wonderfully responsive and pleasant staff took our drink orders and returned promptly with full water glasses and a pitcher if we needed more. The feeling was more of joining them in their home kitchen, a familiar and comfortable setting for a great brunch.
All told, for the three of us, the bill came to under $50 even with a tip. For the amount and quality of the food, this was a steal. The ingredients are all fresh and local when possible. The portions were large. And the atmosphere just added to a great experience.
Please read the reviews, but let the food speak for itself. For a similar meal in larger towns and cities, you would be paying much more and not receive the same quality.
Best breakfast ever. Simple as that. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious and the eggs are always delicious. Coffee is great too! If you are in the area and looking for breakfast, you need to stop by Sweet Sue’s.
Buttermilk pancakes were one of the best things I've ever had
